Guru Poornima was celebrated at our school on July 8, 2017. The programme started with Guru Paduka Pooja followed by chanting of Veda mantras, and continuous chanting of Sri Lalitha Sahasranamavali by teachers and staff members. According to our traditional custom, students performed “Samskruthi Pooja”, the Pada Puja of their parents. There was a cultural show by children of primary classes. They performed a dance drama about the life and message of our beloved Amma, Mata Amritanandamayi Devi. Prasadam was distributed to all at the end of the programme.
