The 74th Independence Day of our country was celebrated in Amrita Vidyalayam Mysuru campus on August 15, 2020.
The programme started with the lighting of the lamp seeking the blessings of Satguru Mata Amritanandamayi Devi and our beloved Principal Swamini Atheendriyamrita Prana, followed by Veda chanting. Col. Ravi Shirahatti (Retd.) was the chief guest, and he hoisted the national flag. It was indeed a proud moment for each one of us to be a part of this patriotic event.
Br. Nishkamamrita Chaithanya graced the occasion. Chief Guest Col. Ravi Shirahatti addressed the gathering, speaking on the topic “Atma Nirbhar Bharath”. The programme concluded with a patriotic song sung by the teachers.
