WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY 2022

World Environment Day was celebrated in Amrita Vidyalayam. The celebration started with lighting the lamp seeking the blessing of Satguru Amma. The chief guests of the day were Smt. Padmaja and Shri Sabarinath who are IT professionals and passionate about organic farming. Students of Class 10 performed a mime act which was enthralling. A skit on the theme ‘Save the Environment‘ was performed by the students. Chief guest Smt. Padmaja addressed the gathering later, followed by an interactive session with the students of classes 8, 9 and 10. The session highlighted the importance of keeping the environment clean and organic farming. Students gifted saplings to each other. Rahul C. of Class 12 spoke on the theme ‘Invest in our Planet’. The program concluded with Shanti Mantra.
