World Environment Day was celebrated at school on June 5th, 2023. The Chief Guest for the day was Smt. Bhagya Lakshmi MA, MSE, M.Ed., Lecturer at DIET Mysuru. Our Principal, Swamini Ateendriyamrita Prana graced the occasion.
The Programme began with the lighting of the lamp seeking the blessings of Satguru Mata Amritanandamayi Devi. The Chief Guest addressed the gathering, speaking about the importance of protecting the environment and reducing the usage of plastics. Students performed skits in Kannada and English on reducing pollution. The Environment Day pledge was taken by the students, and the Chief Guest, students and staff planted saplings.
The programme concluded with Shanti mantra.
